Walnut Hills Farm is located in Callaway, Virginia. We offer the highest quality animals and products by carefully selecting our animals. Out aim is to improve our seedstock animals so our customers are adding growth, marbling, carcass value, docility and maternal traits to their herds. Whether a customer needs bulls/females or simply wants grass fed beef, our genetics will provide the quality genetics or non-industrial beef he or she demands.
Our Offerings
Seedstock Animals. Walnut Hills breeds purebred and optimizer Salers cattle know for high carcass value, easy calving, and good production on grass. We use Angus and Simmentals in our optimizers to capture cross and capture these genetics with the best AI sites offered by ABS Global. As we approach our 10 year anniversary, our herd offers leading outcrossed cattle that are working for cattleman in seven states.
Walnut Hills also offers live animal interests to customers looking for high quality grass fed beef at an attractive price point. The genetics in our seedstock program naturally flow into the farm to table program. Walnut Hills guides the whole process from selecting the right portion whether 1/4, 1/2, or a whole beef interest and then brining this to the door of the customer after custom processing. Once someone tastes beef grown as God intended, it’s hard to return to the supermarket for beef.
